Writing before plate tectonics was widely accepted, Charles Hapgood proposed that the poles had shifted a number of times in the last 100, 000 years. Well, 800 million years is a little early but these paradigm shifts, crawfishings, and major foot from mouth removals don't happen all at once. oopsNEW.gif
