| Hi Oona, I know that lots of people are going to suffer due to extreme weather... this season and in the near future.
I was warned back in 2002 that the worst natural disasters in recorded human history are coming. I even had some dreams of a tsunami wave rolling in and I was trying desperately to tell people to get to high ground.
Since then, I have seen Bam Iran destroyed in seconds and the Asian tsunami.
Both, coincidently ocurred on Dec 26th.
Bam Iran before quake
Bam Iran destroyed in seconds
Buildings that stood for 2000 years...
Pure coincidence of course that both ocurred on Dec 26th.

| Happy Holidays to you also, Pupp.
I will volunteer this Christmas to go to the Indian reservations and provide clothing for the ones who are freezing.
Quemonius and I discussed the natural disasters. We've talked about the dreams that we've had and one that scared me was the tornado that occured in the middle of the night. I remember my dream that happened in the summer of 2002. Then, three years later, in the middle of the night in Indiana, a tornado struck, killing many.

| Arthur,Dec 15 2005, 02:56 AM] Happy Yule!
[QUOTE=Yule was the winter solstice celebration of the Germanic pagans still celebrated by Ásatrúar. (ASATRU) It is also one of the eight solar holidays, or sabbats, of Neopaganism. In modern Neopaganism, Yule is celebrated on the winter solstice: in the northern hemisphere, circa December 21, and in the southern hemisphere, circa June 21.
"Yule" and "Yuletide" are also archaic terms for Christmas, sometimes invoked in songs to provide atmosphere. Indeed, this is the only meaning of "Yule" accepted by either the full Oxford English Dictionary or the Concise Oxford Dictionary, and people unfamiliar with ancient pagan traditions will not distinguish between Yule and Christmas. This usage survives in the term "Yule log"; it may also persist in some Scottish dialects.
As we still say up here
GOD JUL!!! GOOD YULE... [d]
[/
edit to add:
i couldn't put in quote
i couldn't put in colours
oh well... doesn't matter...

Meant to tell you Pupp that my little "Kitty" looks very much like you mother.
As she is 50% Italian, and 50% mutt, (me). Although she looks 100% Italian, like your beautiful mother.

Got all the kids/grandkids for chrissy day and they expect the traditional chrissy dinner with all the trimings, so just might survive the kitchen lol.

|Happy Extreme Season to Everyone wishing you all the best and sensible partying (says she who sits at home typing accompanied by the dog) . May your 2006 be bountiful, rewarding and (my dog is licking the arm of my chair - eeuuugggghhhh now I have to maintain a proper typing position) full of oxygen, yes, full of oxygen (now she can't get the taste out of her mouth and wants to tell me about it - so this behaviour is not limited to the shower tray?...) .|
